Advance Tax Due Dates (FY 2025–26)

In case your overall tax liability for the year is more than ₹10,000, then you shall pay your advance tax in the following manner:

  • 15 June 2025 – 15% of total tax
  • 15 September 2025 – 45% of total tax
  • 15 December 2025 – 75% of total tax
  • 15 March 2026 – 100% of total tax

If you ignore these dates, you will be liable to pay interest as per Sections 234B and 234C.

Income Tax Return (ITR) Filing Deadlines – 2026

  • 31 July 2026 for individuals, salaried employees, and non-audit cases.
  • 31 October 2026 for all the taxpayers whose accounts require an audit.
  • 30 November 2026 for all the taxpayers involved in international or specified domestic transactions (transfer pricing cases).

Belated and Revised Returns

  • 31 December 2026 – This is the last date to submit a belated return or amend a return that has been filed already. However, this will apply if certain penalties are imposed.
